Heart, Hope & Help; What the members of NAR offer one another

Here at Narcissistic Abuse Recovery we are a group of members who are focused on recovering from abuse, and in healing in order to be able to live a happy life.

,
With the understanding that you were dealing with a disordered person, comes the ability to let go of any control you may feel you have to change the disordered person. Once you realize that there is nothing you can do to change the person, you become able to let go of it. It is when you can clearly understand that you can only change yourself -and your life circumstances - and act on this knowledge by getting away from the abuser, and by doing No contact or Limited contact, that you can change your life for the better.

Here at NAR we have a three fold plan for recovery.

1. Know and understand what you have been dealing with. Understand that you never caused it, and you can't fix it.

2. Get away from the abusive person, and cut of any means the abuser has of contacting you, or you being able to contact the abuser. (Unless you have children together, and you have to have minimal contact limited to visitation and child rearing).

3. Healing and getting over the abuse.

Over the years, we have found that these three methods work, and yes, you can get over the abuse, heal, and live a happy and abuse free life.

It is a journey, and it is a healthy and positive journey that pays off. There are bumps in the road at first for you, however, if you will stay on your journey with your personal path leading to living a life without pain, chaos and abuse, then you will get there.

Join us if you are ready to say "NO" to abuse and pain in your life.

We are here to help you along the way. emoticon
