Fight Song - Rachel Platten
The first time I heard this, I knew it was for me.
My ex Narc used to think it was amusing because I knew all the words and ever since I heard it and he was being horrible I just knew that one day I would gain the strength to leave him and I eventually did. It's now 5 weeks since I told him to go and I haven't seen him since.
A while ago I went to Group Meetings and at the end the one running it made a CD of tunes we all used to fall back on when we were stressed and wanting to run away.
Once when my ex was really being nasty I played it full blast and he loved the music. When I told the group they were in hysterics because he hadn't a clue what it was all really about because he didn't know I was getting outside help. Donna
